Family Mediation Services

We provide the following family mediation services:

• Provide neutral environment to allow you to talk and listen to each other
• Facilitate the mediation meetings and provide you with a framework to allow you to explore all the options that work for you and your family
• Provide relevant legal or other information to help you to reach decisions about the future
• Guide you to professional experts such as accountants, financial advisors, pension actuaries (as required)
• Advise you concerning other agencies e.g. in relation to welfare benefits you may be entitled to or contact centres (where relevant)
• Provide a sensitive service that is cost effective, sensible and a realistic alternative to the significant expense of court action
• Summarise the financial information provided in an Open Financial Statement which you can give to your solicitor to show that you have both provided full financial disclosure
• Summarise any agreement reached in a Memorandum of Understanding, which will allow your solicitor to prepare the Consent Order of Separation Agreement more easily. In relation to children a Parenting Plan will be prepared to summarise the agreed arrangements
